Move Me Baby | Original Painting
Shake like the bough of a willow tree / You do it naturally / move me baby
This painting has been in my head for years, but only recently have I had the confidence and skill to put it to canvas. I love the idea of idolisation, of being so in awe of something you are moved to worship. It put me in mind, specifically, of Felurian from the Kingkiller Chronicles (iykyk). A powerful, ancient, fae creature that is so stunningly beautiful, she moves men to madness and eventual death through (ahem) "physical activity". Her grace and wit is unmatched and her beauty is blinding. She moves above the water, and with it.

Visual description: A beautiful woman dances above a forest lake, she wears a white dress and moves with ethereal, glowing grace. A willow tree sways in the background, and golden light pours onto the blue-green scene, lighting her hair and dress. Her arms are raised above her head, and her foot dips into the surface of the lake as she floats above it.
